How should the office canteen/pantry be according to vastu? Where the food we eat is delicious, our digestion is proper according to the meals we have there, also we don’t have to face health related problems and there is harmony between the employees. This is only possible if the office pantry/canteen is made according to the principles of Vastu.

How should the office pantry/canteen be, It is an issue related to the health of the employees working in the office. As out of 24 hours of a day people spend 10-12 hours working in the office. Thus, it becomes very important to pay attention to the canteen/pantry and its food

The Indian government established the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India(FSSAI) to classify the pantry/canteen or hotels in context to the safe and healthy food. To make sure that the employees are healthy, the hygiene of the staff working in the canteen/pantry has to be maintained so that everyone can stay healthy and work together safely.

Maintaining cleanliness helps to avoid the consequences of vastu dosh. If the office is built according to the rules of vastu-shastra and in the right direction, then you can be safe from fluctuations in financial activities and you will keep getting opportunities to earn more profit for your business. There will also be harmony in the office

Vastu tips for office canteen/pantry

    Office canteen/pantry is such a space where all the employees including the owner, manager and guest sit together to have meals, food, beverages to refresh themselves.

  • The office canteen/pantry must always be in the Agni Kon (South-East).
  • The canteen/pantry can also be in the Vayavya Kon.
  • The office canteen/pantry should be in the middle of the Agni Kon which will be the ESE.
  • The south direction is also auspicious.

If the office canteen/pantry is made in the North-East direction then what kinds of aftermath can occur?

  • If the employees consume food made in a canteen/pantry situated in the North-East direction then the following changes in their behavior can be seen.
    The employees seem to be more agitated and angry which means they develop a temper. In such situations you fail to utilize the employee’s talent. Because if they become stubborn or temperamental then their behavior towards you becomes inappropriate and you are unable to fully utilize their potential.
  • Financial loss and no luck regarding work can be experienced.

If the office canteen/pantry is made in the North direction then what kinds of aftermath can occur?

  • The chances of suffering from financial losses in your office increases
  • The chances of bad investments are possible.
  • The employees may face health related issues.
  • There can be difficulties in regards to salary distribution
  • You may have to face difficulties regarding the recovery of capital from clients.

If the office canteen/pantry is built in the West-South-West

A canteen/pantry made in this area is not considered one bit good in vastu-shastra. When canteen/pantry are built like this area, many problems can occur such as:

  • Building a canteen/pantry in this direction is said to be the same as dumping all your money in a drain.
  • There is an increase from general to more expenses.
  • There is an increase in wasteful expenditure.
  • The appliances installed in the canteen/pantry start malfunctioning sooner.

How should the office canteen/pantry be?

  • The canteen/pantry situated in the South-East must have its stove on the wall in the East direction.If crucial, place the stove/induction in the West or the North direction.
  • And for the canteen/pantry in the North-West direction the stove should be in the West walls and if necessary it can be placed on the East walls as well.
  • The sink can be installed in the North, East or the West walls. But it should not be in the South-East or the South-West.
  • The sink and the stove should not be in the same counter and if so a partition should be placed between them.
  • The canteen/pantry and the washroom should not share the same wall nor should it be close to one another.
  • The pipeline of the W/C should not go through from above or below the canteen/pantry
  • The North-West side of the canteen/pantry must not be painted blue or black.
  • The canteen/pantry built in the Agni Kon(South-East) should always be painted in red.

In the office pantry/canteen the designated place for the chef to cook and for the people to have their meals must all be decided according to the rules of Vastu. Because if the employees are having their meals sitting in the wrong direction then it can leave an affect on their health. Which can have an effect on their work.

The eating place for the employees should be as such that they are facing towards East and North while having their meals.So that they can absorb the energy from the food completely. Facing the East while eating is good for your immunity and also protects you from diseases. According to vastu the East direction is considered the direction of the Gods. Considering this you should eat facing the East. if the employees are having their meals while facing the South direction then they can experience health issues related to their stomach for eg; weak digestion, gas, bloating, constipation etc

Facing the South while having a meal in the office can reduce the respect from the employees for their boss.

Broken or damaged utensils or dishes must not be used in the office pantry/canteen, this is considered unlucky and also increases the bad luck. Thus it is not a good sign for the work space or the establishment.

You must not shake your legs while eating in the office canteen/pantry.

The tables in the office canteen/pantry should never be left empty, there should always be something edible on the table at all times. If this is not possible, then keep something with a long shelf life in less quantities like savory snacks or dry fruits etc
